Soooo handsome!
Wow! In a word - Stunning. Hard to believe this gorgeous purebred yellow lab is an owner surrendered, 80 lb. neutered male who knows sit, stay commands and walks well on a leash!

Ordinarily, we would try to snap new photos, but these speak for themselves -- highlight his classic lab markings, emphasize the beautiful angel wings (white shading) gracing his shoulders and serve as a testament to his pure beauty. He's also vetted and completely healthy! Are we missing something here? He is - a loving family... but not for long. Contact us about bringing this boy into the fold.

Oh Demi, how we labradore you.... let us count the ways!

DEMI is a classic purebred yellow lab, approximately 2 years old - and from a looks perspective she is flawless, her appeal universal.
She shares her face time admirably, not a lick of her looks has gone to her head, her focus is wrapped up in her family ~ earning, giving and receiving attention her objectives.
She's had her heart set on becoming a lappy labby, preferring to be as close to her people as possible, the difficulty lies in her size. Demi is just shy of 80 lbs (her ideal weight) but figures herself for less. As determined as she is, we've had to let on that all the exercise in the world will not achieve her purpose, she is not now, nor will she ever be dainty, delicate Demi. Instead, she is a big, beautiful, vibrant lab - turning heads wherever she goes, leaving a wave of onlookers in her path and a wag in her wake. So while she may never land the lap, she's become the consummate snuggler and has settled for right alongside, rather than right on top. So far, its working out well! Seems her foster family thinks so too - with an unwavering love and loyalty for them and a special affection for their son, Demi has won them over. She's easily knit herself into this home and their hearts and hope renews for a girl once left behind.

Ahoy! - They call me Adams and the word around the water cooler (bowl) is I look plucked straight out of an ad campaign for the Salty Dog Cafe TM .
I am a survivor, and have used my wits, guile and intelligence to both endure a harrowing shelter experience and ensure my own rescue. I rolled into my foster home, settled down nicely into a 6 pack of dogs, awaited instructions. Training began day 1 and continues to this day. I am an avid student and pick up tricks and commands with ease - corrections too! I need to be told ONCE, reminded twice (and maybe again if curiosity gets the best of me). Certain allowances have been made for my 'showboating'. I have been known to showcase my many talents... drumroll please ...

When you first meet Smitty, he looks so serious, but his wagging tail quickly gives him away. He's an easygoing, happy dog that seems to love children.

Children love him, too, probably because of his size and because he doesn't try to jump on them. He does so well on a leash that a kid could easily take him for a walk. He's also a real-life stuffed animal at bedtime.

Flurry takes life in s t r i d e. He has a jubilant joie de vivre ~ an exuberance that warms your soul. He is fun loving and the time is always right. He adores people.

Connor is such a great, fun dog!
Matt took him to the dog park over the weekend and said it was hilarious. Connor would just run around in huge circles and knock down the other puppies and then run off. And then, of course, he was dead tired last night.

BLACK_JACK is incredibly sweet and loves to give kisses. He has learnt his name well (Jackson or the shortened version Jack) and comes to me when called.
He is house trained and will sit and lie down when asked. Jackson is incredibly intelligent - I really mean it. This afternoon after I took him out to go potty with his leash on, I asked him to take the leash and go inside. He put the end of the leash in his mouth and ran into the house :)

Jackson tends to be more of an alpha male - just like my Georgio!! It was very interesting to begin with, but Jackson quickly came to understand that Georgi is the leader of the pack in our house. They get on extremely well now and if Jackson gets a little too rambunctious then Georgi just smacks him with his paw and everything is fine again. Kind of like my two kids when they are together!

Jackson is not altogether fond of the crate, but I am working on that. Also, if he is able to get hold of a cuddly toy, he will try and pull it apart if not watched.

Jackson will fit into most families perfectly - he absolutely loves my two children and enjoys the attention from them. Jack, just like my Georgi at this age, would be best suited to a family similar to mine. By that, I mean either as a first dog for a family or a family that have a rather submissive dog already. I take Jackson out to go potty on a leash every time, even if it has been at 4.00am and I run with him a lot. If there are no runners in the family, then he would likely benefit by being in a house with a built-in fence. He's an active boy!

Jackson has gotten used to his lunch and dessert after dinner!!! By that I mean, lunch time is apple and banana and dessert is lettuce and carrots. I expose him to everything that Georgi is exposed to and treat him in the same way.

Lastly, Jackson has improved immensely with regards to walking on a leash. I walk him every day on his own - I generally take Georgi first. He has learnt to be on the left side of me and is doing extremely well.

That's about it for now. As promised, I will get those photos of Jackson to you asap. BTW, the boy constantly smiles, even when he is sleeping. He is simply adorable. I am sure he will be adopted by a very good family, although I will miss him. If for whatever reason it does not work out for a family that takes him, I would definitely like to take him back as his foster :)

Will send the photos real soon.

Thanks so much.

Black Jack is a lovely dog...

Sweet and Calm, Mimi is a very loving girl that follows her foster mom around the house.
Mimi is a four year old 60 pound spayed female that was turned in by her owner to a rural animal control. She enjoys playing with toys, going on walks (proudly leash trained!), getting a lot of attention and chasing squirrels. Mimi is also crate trained and doing well with her house training.

What a sweet girl! She is housebroken, smart and loves to run. She gets along with other dogs and kids and really enjoyed our outing at the dog park on Sunday afternoon.
She kept a close eye on my Lab and put herself in between him and the other dog when a dog charged Sam. Sam is 2xs her size but I guess felt the loyalty to him to protect him.
She has learned to sit on command and back up.

Christmas Holly is an incredibly sweet, and gentle girl.
Great with kids, other dogs and LOVES to swim! She is very laid back most of the time ( other than play time :) and then she can out run and jump most other dogs we know!

Here are some recent pics of her. Had to add one of her laying down- her absolute favorite thing is a belly rub! She is such a pleasant, sweet natured labby. It is breaking our heart to realize that we will not be able to care for her any more. I know you will find a loving home for her. She's a wonderful dog!

Miss Wags A lot...
Oh if you could meet this wiggle worm, you would never look back! She is making every effort to contain herself, but her love of life and enthusiasm has gotten the best of her.
