From her foster...
Clementine continues to open up. What are sweet girl. She is housebroken, smart and loves to run. She gets along with other dogs and kids and really enjoyed our outing at the dog park on Sunday afternoon. She kept a close eye on my Lab and put herself in between him and the other dog when a dog charged Sam. Sam is 2xs her size but I guess felt the loyalty to him to protect him. (I didn't take 'my runt' as she is appalled by the dog park and prefers to sit with the old ladies on the bench :) Clementine comes when called and sits at your feet, so eager to please. She has learned to sit on command and back up. She loves to watch the squirrels but I am guessing would like nothing better than to chase them down. She doesn't need to be in a home with cats as they move to quickly for her. She will be happiest in a home with a fence so she can run or with someone that can tire her out from a long run or brisk walk. She LOVES car rides, but doesn't stick her head out the window as she prefers to sit in the middle and watch the world from the center. She doesn't chew anything but bones provided or my dog's favorite the card board from the empty paper towel roll. She doesn't retrieve, but runs past the ball in large circles such energy, runs straight out! Loves to give kisses and sleep in my leather chair in which I address as her chair. You can't even tell that she had surgery (spay) on Tuesday ~ she is good to go!
Here are a couple of pictures. She is just about the color of my leather chair. I will try for some better ones outside, and maybe one with the big boy, so you can see the size difference.
Clementine is quite a hoot...young and still full of fun and frolic, she's a chocolate labby girl who is on the dainty side, lab wise at least! weighing in at a respectable 47 lbs. She is dog friendly, enjoyed her roomie while at the shelter, and loved her special outings with the Vols. Long strolls and loving - that's her gig. Our darling Clementine - yet another sweet, happy go lucky lab, a goofy girl with a heart of gold.
