Miss Wags A lot... another photo for her profile :)
Oh if you could meet this wiggle worm, you would never look back! She is making every effort to contain herself, but her love of life and enthusiasm has gotten the best of her. And who among us could blame her? Onyx had been cooped up in a shelter kennel without the benefit of any meaningful exercise. Too bad wags don't count, as she's got a tail wag for just about every occasion. Just leaning in to her sends her into a frenzy of delight!
She's such a happy little girl - finally enjoying well deserved happy, lazy days - now an active participant and not merely an onlooker. Introductions to new things take time and training and Onyx has already shown herself to be disciplined - she's very eager to please, so she's trained with ease and never doubted she could keep up the pace! She's already mastered sit, wait, to speak on cue, almost knows down, and is great on the leash ...with a little convincing - i.e. treats.
Onyx adores her canine companions, learns from their example and responds adequately to their corrections. She knows her boundaries, realizes her place in the doggy hierarchy and does not challenge - she is just too happy to have a part to even concern herself with who may have the starring role! She's wonderful with children (not a jumper), an avid fan of outings in the car, loves to run but will melt in your arms when inside - a cupcake for affection.
Now that we've expounded on all her inherent inner beauty, we would be remiss if we failed to touch on her equally standout exterior - a lovely labby girl ~ slight and elegant, black from tip to toe, with sparkly eyes and a shorter coat. Agile, limber and graceful - Onyx knows how to limbo - 4 paws on the floor no less! She is, simply put, a delightful ounce of elfin oooomph!! |
